Suvarnaprashana is also known by other names like, Swarna Prashana, Swarna Bindu Prashana, Swarnamritha Prashan, Hiranya Prashana, Suvarnaprashana and Suvarna Prashan. It is one of the essential rituals described in Ayurveda for development of growth, memory and immunity in children. Suvarna Prashan is a natural, time tested method to improve overall health of children practiced for more than 5000 years.

Ingredients of Suvarna Prashan:
Pure extract of gold (24 carat) ash, Ghee, Honey and Herbal extract of medicinal plants like Vacha (Acorus Calamus), Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus-Pluricaulis), Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri), Guduchi Satwa (Tinospora Cordifolia), Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza Glabra), Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera)
Age of children who can take Suvarna Prashan:
From the birth up to the age of 16 years. However, the specific age of giving Suvarna prashan is not described in Ayurvedic texts, but the early administration of Suvarna prashan is greatly helpful for building immunity and intelligence.
Dose:
Birth to 1 year – 2 drops 1 to 16 years- 4 drops
Time to give Suvarna Prashan:
Every day morning in the empty stomach. After giving the drops maintain a gap of 15 min before giving any solid food. Or Monthly once on the day of Pushya nakshatra.
Day:
Preferably starting on Pushya nakshatra, on daily basis. (Pushya nakshatra- an auspicious day- which happens to come after every 27 days, starting on this day it bestows excellent benefits)
